The Superior Double Room was beautifully traditional, with a fine view overlooking the canal. I loved the complimentary bottle of champagne that added a special touch to our anniversary celebration. The location was unbeatable, right in the heart of Venice, easy access to both St Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge.

The accommodation was fantastic located short walk to the restaurant and San Marco square and Grand Canal and minor canal, that's what I was expecting. This was a great place to stay, I would stay there again.

Our experience was marred by the air conditioner malfunctioning. It was an eternal battle to get it to work properly . The initial warm welcome faded when we discovered mushrooms growing in the shower, utterly unacceptable. I even felt uncomfortable during check-in when the staff gave an unhelpful lecture about passport regulations.

Our stay was nice thanks to the unbeatable central location, just a few steps from Piazza San Marco and around 500 meters from the Rialto Bridge, making it easy to explore the city on foot and take in all the fine architecture and lively atmosphere venice has to offer.
